Just a reminder that the clocks go back this weekend, precisely at 2am in the early hours of Sunday the 30th October.
The change will mean lighter mornings and darker evenings. Currently, the sun rises at around 7.30 am and sets just after 7pm. However, next week, sunrise will be closer to 6.40 and the sun will set at 6 pm.
People arriving and departing should be aware that Canarian time is exactly the same as that in the UK and Ireland throughout the year.
