Last Friday, residents and visitors were treated to the inauguration of the Teguise Belén with musical performances.
The Belén in the plaza Camilo José Cela opened to the public last Friday. During the official ceremony residents and visitors were treated to performances by Lanzarote tenor, Raúl Rod, who sang Christmas songs and later the Canarian rock band “Los 600” paid tribute to the 70s, 80s and 90s with a concert.
On Saturday, the elders of the municipality visited the Belén as part of an excursion and enjoyed a lunch at the Monumento al Campesino.
That evening, residents and visitors were treated to more musical performances by groups Coral Polifónica Villa de Teguise and Camerata Lacunensis.
