Tías Ayuntamiento have announced that a project to expand the cemetery has be awarded, with a budget of 45,000 euros of municipal funds.
The works carried out by Tías Ayuntamiento will see an additional 48 niches constructed in the north side of the cemetery, near the entrance.
The works “will be executed in the gardens of the northern part of the cemetery, since the location is the least disruptive for the execution of the works, and since it gives shelter to the environment without taking away from the cemetery.”
