The small beach at Caleta de Famara has been resupplied with sand by Teguise Ayuntamiento in preparation for the forthcoming fiestas of the Sacred Heart of Mary.
Work has also been carried out on the pier and the church to ready the small village for its annual celebrations, which will take place form the 22nd to 28th August. The fiesta will come to its climax with a procession along the beach at midday on Sunday 28th, followed later by dances.
