The Lanzarote Cabildo have announced the opening of the LZ-408 (Nazaret – Vuelta Ajai) after extensive roadworks and an investment of 3.5 million euros.
The year-long project saw the road renewed, a roundabout built at the intersection with the LZ-10, and the improvement of road signage.
President of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, stated that “In recent years, Teguise has been the municipality with the largest investment from the Cabildo in its history, with the works on the Nazaret road and the Eje Norte pipeline being the most important actions for its citizens.”
The Cabildo’s Public Works Councillor, Alfredo Mendoza, stated “the road surface has also been reinforced, pavements have been built on two streets and access to the Nazaret Socio-Cultural Centre car park has been improved.”
