In the “new normality” on Lanzarote, golf is back in full swing. So much so that our last tournament was played on the 3rd of July in gale force winds during a yellow weather alert on the island! Jean-François Crinquand reports.
In these extremely challenging conditions, Barbara Moss was the best golfer to master winds gusting at over 60km/h and she scored an amazing 70 points in the July Hanson Cup medal play game. Great win, Barbara!
Our weekly games are as busy as ever with a mix of Las Palmeras Golf Society Members, visitors to our beautiful Island and a group of lovely ladies from the Tias Golf Club (currently closed).
