The Arrecife Ayuntamiento have put out to tender a two-year contract with a budget of up to 1.2 million euros for the maintenance of streetlights in the municipality.
For the first time Arrecife will soon have a streetlight maintenance service. The Mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, stated “this initiative is absolutely necessary because, as has happened with the traffic lights, the neglect of previous terms of office has led to a considerable deterioration of public lighting in Arrecife.”.
The winning company will have a two-year contract, with the option to extend for a further two years, and a budget of up to 1.2 million euros. Interested parties have until 1pm on July 25th to submit their bids and must provide an engineer, eight electricians, two drivers as well as a van and crane lorry.
