The President of the Lanzarote Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, met with Japanese travel agents on Monday to promote Lanzarote tourism.

This Monday the Cabildo President, María Dolores Corujo, met with Japanese travel agents promoted by the Spanish Tourism Institute (Turespaña).The Cabildo aim to continue their commitment to increasing the quality of the tourism sector by opening doors to the Japanese market.
The Spanish Tourism Institute (Turespaña) is collaborating with La Palma, Tenerife and Lanzarote to organise trips for Japanese travel agents to see the Canary Islands.
Corujo held a lunch in one of the islands most popular tourist centres, the Jameos del Agua. She welcomed the travel agents and conveyed her ideas, projects and future goals that the Cabildo are currently pursuing in their quest to improve the quality of tourism and diversify the market profiles of Lanzarote tourism.
The agent’s trip to the island also includes visits to Lanzarote’s many landmarks, as well as an introduction to the Lanzarote cuisine.
