Promising news for tourism Lanzarote Airport arrived with the figures for arrivals at Lanzarote’s César Manrique Airport in January.

With just under 628,000 passengers, the figures are over 50% higher than in January last year, and 10.3% higher than in the last January before the pandemic, in 2019.

The figures make Lanzarote the Canarian airport that has seen the highest amount of growth, although Canarian airports as a whole saw a rise of 47% against last year and 5% compared to 2019.

2.5 million arrivals to the Canaries in January were international, while 1.4 million came form Spanish airports, with the domestic arrivals showing greater growth than overseas visitors.
