An 84-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after her car left the road and overturned.
Yesterday, at approximately 7pm, emergency services were alerted to a road accident near El Peñón.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the 84-year-old in the car and had to remove her from it. She was later taken to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa in Arrecife with an arm injury.
A passenger, who managed to get out of the vehicle, was unharmed.
