A 19-year-old has sustained injuries after being assaulted in Costa Teguise in the early hours of this morning.
At approximately 4am, the emergency services were called to Avenida Islas Canarias after receiving a report that a 19-year-old had been assaulted with a knife.
The ambulance staff arrived at the scene and took the victim to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife.
The report does not mention the other person involved in the assault, however, Guardia Civil were at the scene and will be investigating the incident.
