Cabildo President, María Dolores Corujo, stated “we will focus all our efforts on speeding up the procedures and the collection of subsidies aimed at alleviating the impact that the increase in operating costs is having on the livestock sector.”.
Councillor for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Andrés Stinga, explained that the aid “will help to cope with the rising prices of transport, raw materials and fuel that the sector is suffering, after the invasion of Ukraine.”.
Corujo and Stinga showed their confidence that “these grants, and the initiatives announced last week will contribute to the restoration of stability to a key sector for the island.”.
