Car crash on the LZ-2

A 50-year-old woman has been injured after overturning her car on the LZ-2 near the Deiland Shopping Centre yesterday.

At approximately 6:30pm yesterday evening, the emergency services were alerted to a car crash on the LZ-2 near the Deiland Shopping Centre.

Upon arrival, fire fighters found that the car had overturned in the crash and that the driver was able to leave the vehicle by her own means.

Ambulance staff assessed the woman and determined that she had suffered minor injuries and bruises. The 50-year-old driver was later taken to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife for further checks.
