The wind farm at Los Valles is back in operation after eight of its turbines were repaired recently. The remaining turbines are still waiting for spare parts to arrive.
The Los Valles wind farm belongs to the publicly-owned Eólicas de Lanzarote company, which is currently involved in a contractual dispute with the company that was hired to maintain the turbines. They allege a serious breach of contract that forced them to hire an alternative company on a temporary basis.
