Arrecife Ayuntamiento will conduct noise pollution monitoring in the capital to determine which areas are in compliance with their environmental plans.
Mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, has announced that Arrecife Ayuntamiento have presented a contract for the monitoring of noise pollution over the next four years. The contract was awarded to Sistemas Ambientales Canarios SLU, with a budget of 44,000 euros.
Devices used to record noise pollution will be installed in areas where recreational activities take place, to determine that they are in compliance with their environmental plans.
Arrecife Ayuntamiento will address problem areas by installing soundproofing measures to reduce noise pollution.
