The National Police have arrested a 21-year-old man alleged to have assaulted a man in a club in Arrecife, causing serious wounds and leaving him unconscious.
Last month, the National Police were made aware of an assault that took place in the early hours of the morning in a well-known club in Arrecife.
According to the report, the victim suffered numerous punches and kicks to the head and was left unconscious on the floor. Due to his injuries the victim was treated by ambulance staff and taken to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife for further diagnosis.
An investigation into the incident had led to the arrest of a 21-year-old man who was located in Arrecife and arrested for further questioning.
He is now awaiting the following legal proceedings.
