The Partido Popular of Tinajo has insisted on the improvement of bus connections between the municipality and the island’s resorts.
The PP of Tinajo calls for “the implementation of a bus service connecting the municipality of Tinajo with Puerto del Carmen, a resort to which many residents travel daily to get to work, and which has no connection to Tinajo at the moment. The idea is to have the bus service adjusted to working hours, so that workers can use it to get to and from work.”
“It is not acceptable that Tinajo continues to be an isolated municipality with which residents have to continue to resort to private vehicles because there is no other option”, says PP member Ramon Ortiz, who believes that “with the implementation of a new line and that of Playa Blanca, the municipality would make a very important leap in terms of mobility.
The proposed line by the PP would follow a route from La Santa, Tinajo, Mancha Blanca, Tinguatón and Puerto del Carmen.
