Passengers on an Iberia Express flight to Madrid whose take-off was aborted yesterday morning have had to wait almost 17 hours at the airport for a rescheduled flight.
The plane was due to take off at 7.20 am, but braked sharply on the runway. Passengers disembarked and returned to the airport where a replacement flight was finally arranged at a quarter past midnight.
Several passengers have complained that they missed connections, and that the airline failed to keep them fully informed.
