The IES Teguise have adopted new technology to improve the attention of their students with Virtual Reality headsets, supported by the Lanzarote Cabildo.
The school, in coordination with teachers Sonia Rodríguez and Vanesa Delgado from Burgos University and with funding from the Cabildo, is developing a research project to improve the attention of its students through Virtual Reality.
The Cabildo’s Education Councillor, Myriam Barros, explained that “virtual reality enables the development of skills, especially in the case of students with difficulties.”.
The project will last approximately four months, during which different short activities will be integrated into the school day.
“Through these activities, the students’ ability to concentrate will be improved”, added Barros.
