Two people have been sentenced to three years in prison for running a cannabis club without being registered or authorised to sell products.
A court in Arrecife has sentenced the owners of cannabis club “Green Paradise THC Association” to three years in prison for being unregistered or authorised to set up the shop.
The business itself had been registered legally, however, the owners failed to present any authorisation from Spain’s Agency of Medicines and Health Products that would allow them to distribute products.
The association had accrued over 200 members by October of 2018.
