The first Chinese Artistic and Cultural Festival will take place in Puerto del Carmen next week.
The festival, organised by the Aixin Association of Chinese in Lanzarote, will start at 5pm on Thursday 22nd September with a parade along the Avenida de las Playas.. This will culminate in the launch of an exhibition in the Fondeadero Centre. A Chinese calligraphy workshop will also be held on that day.
Later on the 22nd, at 8pm, there’ll be dragon dancing, acrobatics and drumming exhibitions in the Plaza del Varadero. A series of films on Chinese-related issues will be shown at El Fondeadero during the week.
