Lanzarote Wines has announced a series of activities for the coming months that aim to link tourism ever closer with Lanzarote’s rich wine heritage.

Vinos de Lanzarote, the brand of the Regulating Council for the Lanzarote Denomination of Origin, has announced that it is seeking to appeal to Wine Lovers “who are not experts, but who want to broaden their knowledge and their collection.”

the Activities will include the following:

Wine walks

These guided walks will take place in ands around various bodegas, allowing visitors to discover the strong links between the island’s landscape and its wine. The first walk took place last week, and the next, an easy walk around Bodega Martiñon, is scheduled for 12th May. All walks will conclude with a wine tasting session.

ConVinados

These are events held in prestigious local restaurants, where wines are expertly teamed up with tasting menus from expert chefs.

The next sessions will take place from 21st to 27th March, and will be hosted by a good friend of ours, Jon Pérez, at his wonderful Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant Kenewa, overlooking the Charco de San Gines in Arrecife.

Winefulness

A unique first-time blend of mindfulness with wine will take place on 9th April at Bodegas Rubicón when yoga instructor Itziar Goikolea will lead participants through a session of heightened consciousness accompanied by a tasting of the bodega’s wines.

Many more activities, are planned. Find out more at www.dolanzarote.com or the Vinos de Lanzarote social media pages.
