Exciting moments are expected under the volcano in Yaiza tomorrow as Union Sur Yaiza face the most important football match in their history against Panadería Pulido San Mateo at the Estado Municipal in Yaiza.
It is the second leg of the play-off semi-final which will give the winner the chance to play a mainland team for the chance of promotion to Spain’s second division.
Yaiza managed to grab a 1-1 draw at San Mateo’s ground in Las Palmas last weekend and will be hoping that home advantage will be enough to take them through tomorrow’s match. However, no one will forget that San Mateo have already defeated UD Lanzarote at home when they began the second leg of the quarter final at 1-1 a fortnight ago.
The game will start at 5 pm on Saturday 8th June at the Estadio Municipal. Tickets will be on sale at the gate only from 3.30pm and will cost €10, although season ticket holders and children under the age of 16 (with ID) can enter free.
