The Mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, has issued his Christmas message for the residents of Yaiza.
In the speech Noda stated, “Dear neighbours of Yaiza, Christmas is here after another year and I wish you [on behalf of the institution that I have the honour of presiding] good health and well-being, and that you achieve your personal and professional dreams.”
“Our municipality reflects the good work, humility, inclusion, solidarity, tolerance and hospitality, among other values, that have allowed us to grow and live together.”
“Historically, we have each other, and our elders can attest to it. United we will continue expanding those values that have made us the best.”
“For the 13 towns in the municipality, Christmas serves to reunite with our family and friends, and renew our wishes for prosperity, love and joy.”
“The coming year, which is about to begin, will mark and before and after for our municipality. As we open our sports centre and the new Playa Blanca port.”
“I wish you a healthy and prosperous New Year, and let’s celebrate life together. Happy holidays.”
