Yaiza enjoyed a festive market last Sunday with warm weather and plenty of Christmas cheer.

The market took place in the Plaza de Los Remedios church and featured fifteen stalls selling decorative items, textiles, Christmas sweets, local gift items, cosmetics and more.

In addition to the stalls, local associations were present such as Pequeño Valiente which offers support for children with cancer, Doggys del Sur and more who raised funds through the sale of goods.

On the day children were treated to a fascinating Christmas storytelling session in the Casa Benito Pérez Armas with Vicky Dos Santos and Aarón Márquez. There were also musical performances from the Parranda Amigos de Arrecife El Verol, the Agrupación Altaja, and the Sorondongo de Lanzarote.
