Las Breñas’ celebrations marked the end of Carnivals in Yaiza last Saturday, featuring stage performances by three musical groups. The great weather paired with fancy dress and live music made for a fun afternoon.

The bands “Expecta Band”, “Sin Red Social” and “Sin Cobertura” all took turns to take to the stage and show off their skills, with two of the groups making their debut at the carnival.

As celebrations come to a close, the Yaiza Ayuntamiento focuses its attention on the patron saint festivities coming in May, in honour of San Isidro Labrador.

Ayuntamiento Councillor, Javier Camacho, stated “we are excited to be able to meet again soon, with the patron saint festivities. With open arms Uga will welcome us for the San Isidro Labrador celebrations, followed by the San Luis Gonzaga celebrations in Las Breñas this June”.
