A 40-year-old woman was seriously injured after being hit by a car near the Pueblo Marinero in Costa Teguise, during the early hours of Thursday, July 16.
According to reports, the incident was reported at around 12:09 a.m. Emergency services immediately dispatched local police officers and two ambulances to the scene.
Paramedics treated the woman at the scene for multiple injuries. After being stabilised, she was transported by ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife, where she received further treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the accident have not yet been disclosed.
