Arrecife is due to receive 15 boutique cruise ship calls by the end of November, with the arrival of the French-flagged Le Laperouse marking the start of the autumn and winter season for luxury expedition cruises in Lanzarote.

The city welcomed Le Laperouse this Monday. The vessel carries up to 184 passengers in 92 cabins and suites, all with private balconies or terraces. Some passengers benefit from private butler service, while catalogue prices for the itinerary, which includes a stop in Arrecife, start at approximately 8,500 euros.

The ship is scheduled to return to Lanzarote on November 2nd, docking at Arrecife during a voyage from Agadir.

According to data from the Las Palmas Port Authority, Arrecife will receive 15 boutique cruise ships by the end of November, highlighting the port’s role in attracting premium cruise tourism to the Canary Islands and the northwest coast of Africa.

The programme includes several other vessels during November. The Sea Cloud II is scheduled to call on November 4th, while the Four Seasons I and the Regatta are due to arrive on November 6th, with both ships making port calls on the same day.

The Insignia is expected on November 11th. The Star Flyer and the Sea Cloud Spirit are also scheduled to make calls on November 11th.
