Woman saved from drowning at Papagayo beach

A woman was saved from drowning by one of the leisure boats that visits Papagayo beach yesterday.

The incident occurred at around midday, when the boat rescued the woman from the sea. One of the passengers on the boat was a nurse who gave first aid to the woman.

She was then taken to the Marina Rubicón and transferred to an ambulance before being treated at the main hospital.
