A 43-year-old woman has been injured after a car accident on the LZ-1.
In the early hours of this morning, emergency services were called to an accident on the LZ-1 at approximately 5:30am.
Upon arrival, they found a 43-year-old driver who had been injured in the crash after he car left the road and overturned.
The medical staff at the scene assisted the woman and transferred her to the Dr José Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife.
The car was removed from the side of the road by fire fighters.
