A young woman has been taken to the hospital in Arrecife after suffering an ankle injury yesterday.
At approximately 1:30pm on Sunday afternoon, the emergency services were alerted to an incident at Papagayo beach.
Upon arrival, they found the young woman unable to walk with an injury to her ankle. The ambulance staff assessed the injury and determined that it was a fracture; she was then taken to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife.
