Woman in serious condition after being hit by bicycle

A woman was taken to hospital in a “serious condition” yesterday after being hit by a bicycle in Playa Honda.

The incident took place in the early afternoon on Calle San Borondón, one of the main streets intended to be used by cyclists who have been diverted from the seafront promenade at Playa Honda. 

The victim, who was reported as suffered various injuries, was taken to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital for treatment.
