Lanzarote is on a yellow alert for high winds today.
Spain’s meteorological agency, AEMET; has issued a warning that gusts of up to 80 kph could be experienced on western-facing areas of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.
The alert expires at 5pm today, a although strong winds may still be experienced this evening and tomorrow.
Light calimas are also predicted, with hazy skies especially visible in the morning.
