Wind alert for Wednesday and Thursday

AEMET has issued a yellow wind alert for Wednesday evening and the whole of Thursday on Lanzarote and most of the other Canary Islands.

Strong winds reaching up to 70 kph are expected from 5 pm onwards, especially in north-east and south-east facing parts of the island.

Aside from the wind, the weather is predicted to be sunny and bright, with daytime temperatures in the mid-20s.
