Canal Gestion and then Lanzarote Water Consortium have issued a warninmg that some areas of the island could be affected by water shortages over the next few days.
The problems result from damage to the North 2 pipeline, which has been fixed but may still lead to supply problems.
The areas that could be affected are Nazaret, Teguise, Teseguite, Los Valles, El Mojón, Guatiza, Haría, Máguez, Guinate, Yé, Órzola and La Graciosa.
