Walker rescued at Las Grietas

A walker was rescued by emergency services at Las Grietas in Tías last Friday.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, the victim was already being treated by Canarian Health Service paramedics, who immobilised his arm.

As the incident had taken place in an inaccessible area, stakes, ropes and a harness were then used to remove the man, who then walked to the ambulance on his own two feet.
