A number of young cyclists have shocked drivers in Arrecife after attempting wheelies closely behind and in front of oncoming vehicles.
Videos of young cyclists riding dangerously have been noticed online and shows them attempting wheelies behind cars and riding towards oncoming vehicles before swerving out of the way on one wheel.
The videos have been uploaded by the riders themselves and show them attempting potentially life-threatening stunts on Calle Manolo Millares. In addition to the risk they impose on drivers, the young cyclists put themselves at further risk by not wearing any protection such as helmets or knee/elbow pads.
The Guardia Civil are investigating the situation.
