Union Sur Yaiza reach the play-off final

Union Sur Yaiza marched into the play-off final yesterday evening with a commanding 3-0 victory in front of 1,200 spectators at their home ground.

Goals from Diego Cassopero, Moha and Aitor sealed the 4-1 aggregate win, which will see Yaiza drawn against a mainland Spanish side for a two-leg showdown, with the victor winning promotion to Spain’s 2^nd Division RFEF.

The draw to find Yaiza’s oppnents will take place on Monday at 12 noon (Canarian time), and the two legs of the play-off final will take place over the next two weekends.
