Two rubbish container fires in Arrecife

Firefighters were called to two rubbish container fires in the Altavista neighbourhood of Arrecife at 6pm today.

At approximately 6pm, the emergency services were alerted to another case of rubbish bin fires on the island, this time on Calle Muyay in Arrecife’s Altavista neighbourhood.

Upon arrival, firefighters found one cardboard and one plastic recycling container had been destroyed by the fire. Both fires were safely extinguished, however, they will need to be replaced at the cost of municipal funds.
