Two Lanzarote wines have won awards at this year’s “Wines from Spain Awards” and will be presented at ProWein 2025.

The “Wines from Spain Awards” are an international wine competition for the promotion of Spanish quality wines, organized for the first time in 2025 by ICEX/Wines.

This year, 500 top Spanish quality wines were be tasted and the best wines in various award categories were be selected by a jury of experienced tasters and a very internationally orientated Master Jury.

Two wines from Lanzarote were selected amongst the winners with Bodegas El Grifo winning a gold medal for its Rosado de Lágrima 2023 (Rosé) and Bodega Erupción winning a gold medal for its Milagro de Magmasía Colección 2022 (White Wine).

The winning wines will be actively promoted by ICEX/Wines from Spain in international key markets during 2025 and will celebrate their premiere at ProWein 2025.

In addition to the ceremonial presentation of the winners’ certificates at the ICEX/Foods and Wines from Spain ProWein booth, the winning wines will be shown to the trade public in an Open Tasting Area at ProWein and will also be presented in an exclusive Masterclass.
