The emergency services were called to the home of two elderly people in Arrecife yesterday afternoon, as a nearby vehicle fire saw smoke flood their home.
At approximately 3pm yesterday afternoon, fire fighters were called to the home of two elderly people in Arrecife.
Upon arrival, the emergency services found a van on fire near the property. They quickly extinguished the fire and began ventilating the nearby home which had been flooded with smoke from the fire.
Fortunately, the elderly pair were okay and did not need to be taken to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife.
