A tourist was rescued by a lifeguard at Playa de la Garita yesterday morning.
A tourist swimming at Playa de la Garita was rescued by a lifeguard yesterday morning after they began struggling in the water while swimming back to shore.
The lifeguard was close by and, when the tourist called for help, rushed to them quickly with a float and brought them back to shore.
There are no reports that the bather suffered any injuries.
