A tourist was taken to hospital on Friday after falling and breaking his arm in the Barranco del Quíquere.
The incident occurred at around 5.15 in the afternoon , when emergency services receive3d a call informing them, that a tourist had fallen and injured himself in the Barranco de Quíquere – the deep ravine that is found on the clifftop route between Puerto del Carmen and Puerto Calero.
Police, Guardia Civil, civil protection staff, firemen and the Canarian Health Service attended the scene where paramdics splinted and bound the patients’s arm before firemen removed him in a stretcher and the ambulance took him to hospital.
