Last December saw the highest number of airport arrivals in 2023 with over 300,000. Which is also the highest number of airport arrivals ever.
The Centro de Datos is a great source for all things Lanzarote Data, and they have just published December 2023 tourism numbers.
December recorded the highest number of arrivals in 2023 with over 300,000. Beating the previous figure of 277,861 in November. Not only was it the highest number of arrivals in 2023 but also the highest number ever.
The closest the island came to this figure was in March 2018, when the airport recorded 299,960 arrivals.
The tourist figures for December 2023 are as follows:

France – 21,417
Netherlands – 8,622
Ireland – 25,428
Italy – 9,642
Nordic Countries – 10,174
United Kingdom – 149,841
Other – 15,217
TOTAL – 300,753
