Tinajo invests in two shuttle buses for tourists

Tinajo Ayuntamiento is investing in two electric buses which will shuttle tourists to and from protected areas around the National Park of Timanfaya.

The buses will start from Mancha Blanca and ferry passengers to the Volcán del Cuervo and the Caldera Blanca, two popular walking areas that have recently suffered from overcrowding. The parking areas at these locations will be closed to private vehicles.

An app will be created to book journeys on the new buses, and this will be subject to a charge.

Another, smaller bus will also take passengers to local bodegas and dairies.
