Three Tías shops win prizes for best Halloween decorations

Over the weekend, Tías Ayuntamiento awarded the prizes for the Halloween Window Dressing Competition to Canariensis Jardinería, Óptica Tías and Melvi joyerías, which won first, second and third prize, respectively, for their creativity.

The mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, and the councillor for Commerce, Miriam Hernández, congratulated the winners and highlighted “the participation and quality of the work of all the businesses, both participants and non-participants in the contest, who decorated their premises with sensitivity and a festive atmosphere, helping to create a general atmosphere of celebration.”

The Halloween window dressing contest in the Tías shopping area, organised by the Ayuntamiento with the support of the Cabildo, included three prizes of 300, 200, and 100 euros each. The jury highlighted the excellent presentation of all the competing window displays.

The Department of Commerce would like to thank the establishments for their involvement and congratulate the winners for their efforts and the results of these displays, “which are more spectacular every year and add value and appeal to the shopping area of Tías.”
