Three pateras carrying 140 people was spotted off the coast of Lanzarote yesterday morning.
All three boats were spotted by the emergency services and transported to the main pier in Arrecife, where occupants are checked by the Cruz Roja before male occupants are assigned to temporary accommodation in the camp near the national police station.
