Arrecife Ayuntamiento have announced that they are currently investigating the perpetrator who removed electrical wiring from several streetlights in the Las Salinas neighbourhood in Arrecife which left several streets without lighting.
For several days numerous streets in the Las Salinas neighbourhood were left without street lighting after someone had tampered with the streetlights, removing electrical cables, causing a blackout.
Arrecife Ayuntamiento have appealed to the public to come forward with any information they might have on the whereabouts or identity of the perpetrator. They also ask that, in the event of any suspicious of theft, to alert the local police.
The lighting has been restored by the Ayuntamiento after replacing removed wires.
