Last Friday, the Colegio Hispano Británico school in Tías presented the Cambridge Gold Awards to three outstanding students who have achieved the best grades in Spain in their chosen subjects.
The awards mark another astonishing performance by the school in the University of Cambridge International Exams – perhaps the most competitive international exams in the world.
The recipients of the awards were:
Silvia Izquierdo Hoffmann: German AS Level
Charlotte Louise Agnew: Spanish Language AS Level
Khushi Barchha Radia: Environmental Sciences IGCSE
Tobias López Jessen: Chemistry and Physics A Level
Headmaster Roger Deign opened the ceremony, and each student was introduced by their teachers: Regina Lemm, Elixabete Arregui and David Andrews. Tías Mayor José Juan Cruz presented the certificates.
