The Mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, has visited the newly built Civic Centre in Costa Teguise – a project that has cost almost 1.2 million euros.
Located next to the Colegio Arenas, municipal technicians have inspected the facilities and given them the go-ahead. The Civic Centre features multi-use spaces, a cafeteria, changing rooms, offices, large terraces, children’s play area, walkways and gardens, as well as a large hall with seating for up to 250 people.
“The Teguise Ayuntamiento has fulfilled its commitment to expand the network of socio-cultural spaces throughout the municipality”, stated Betancort.
“A few days ago we handed over the key to the Las Caletas Civic Centre, another one of our exciting projects, and soon we will host events at this new centre in Costa Teguise, so that children, young and old can enjoy it”, added councillor, Olivia Duque.
